It was a good run, but Crawford unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Clifton Cubs by a score of 2-1.

Averi Bolgiano and Ava Johnson certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Bolgiano had 11 digs and two aces, while Johnson had four digs and three aces.

Crawford's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Clifton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Crawford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Grandview on the 16th. As for Clifton, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Leon on the 16th.
