Volleyball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwest Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-0.

Among those leading the charge was Gyntre Fletcher, who had 30 assists and three digs. That's the most assists she has posted over her last 13 matchups.

West's loss dropped their record down to 3-21-3. As for Northwest, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-6.

West has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against East on the 9th. As for Northwest, they will face off against Southeast at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
