Football Recap: Oliver Springs Starts Season with Victory on the Road + How To Watch

Oliver Springs had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They strolled past the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals with points to spare, taking the game 38-20.

Jaxon Jett was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries.

Oliver Springs didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jett.

Coming up, Oliver Springs will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Roane County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 25-18 victory against McMinn Central on the 28th.
