Basketball Game Preview: Cushing Bearkats vs. Douglass Indians

Cushing hasn't had much luck against Douglass recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bearkats will be playing at home against the Indians at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

On Friday, Cushing beat Mt. Enterprise 77-64.

Meanwhile, Douglass humbled New Summerfield with an 84-33 victory. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.

Cushing's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Douglass, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.

Cushing might still be hurting after the 60-35 loss they got from Douglass in their previous matchup back in January of 2025. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bearkats were down 40-18.
