Palmer Trinity had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Westminster Christian Warriors by a score of 10-7 on Wednesday. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Emily 'Emmy' Cerda spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Kinsey Cerda was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Rodriguez, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Palmer Trinity always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March.

Palmer Trinity's record now sits at 8-4. As for Westminster Christian, their record is now 9-13.

As of now, neither Palmer Trinity nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
