Softball Recap: Horseshoe Bend Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Horseshoe Bend had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Wilder Wildcats by a score of 10-8 on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Wilder now has a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Horseshoe Bend will venture away from home to challenge Glenns Ferry at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pilots will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up.
