Recap: Aberdeen Tigers vs. West Side Pirates

The Aberdeen Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 49-22 loss at the hands of West Side. Aberdeen has struggled against West Side recently, as their contest on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

West Side can attribute much of their success to Aynslee Stewart, who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stewart has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tommi Henderson, who scored ten points.

Aberdeen has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for West Side, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aberdeen's road trip will continue as they head out to face Soda Springs at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. The timing is sure in Soda Springs' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Aberdeen has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road. As for West Side, they will square off against Declo at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
