Volleyball Recap: Tyler Triumphs

Tyler posted their closest victory since October 1, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Avonworth Antelopes 2-1.

Kayli West paced Tyler's offense, picking up 11 kills. West got some help from Raylynn Heintzman and her 20 assists. Katie Grimm controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Tyler's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Avonworth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Tyler didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Landstown on the 13th. As for Avonworth, they will head out on the road to square off against Laurel at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
