Volleyball Recap: Desert Oasis Falls Despite Big Games from Riana Morales Imura and Mackenzie Dalton

Desert Oasis was the 3-0 winner over Shadow Ridge when they last played one another back in September of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Diamondbacks fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Diamondbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

MacKenzie Dalton and Riana Morales Imura certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Dalton had eight digs and four assists, while Morales Imura had six digs and four assists.

Desert Oasis' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Shadow Ridge, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Desert Oasis has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Sierra Vista on the 16th. As for Shadow Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Green Valley on the 16th.
