Volleyball Recap: Watkins Memorial Warriors vs. New Albany Eagles
Watkins Memorial lost to New Albany back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Warriors came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1.
The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 25-13, 24-26, 28-26, 27-25.
Morgan Cumbo paced Watkins Memorial's offense, picking up 16 kills. Cumbo got some help from Ellah Bigham and her 41 assists. Bigham was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
