Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Telos' Third in Last Four Outings

Telos won the last time they faced Dugway, and Kemari McCauley did his part to make sure it happened again. Telos came out on top against the Dugway Mustangs by a score of 63-54 on Wednesday thanks in part to McCauley, who posted 26 points. Those 26 points gave him a new career-high.

Dugway lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Tanner Thackeray, who had 17 points. Thackeray has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gary Williams Jr, who put up 16 points.

Telos is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-15 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Dugway, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Telos has already played their next contest, an 83-33 win against Utah School for the Deaf & Blind on the 7th. As for Dugway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-37 victory against Mount Vernon on the 7th.
