Wright's game  on Monday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They blew past the Ontonagon Gladiators 15-8. Considering the Red Devils have won nine contests by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Brendan McCullough and  Evan Oja were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing,  McCullough   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Oja   struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   five  hits. Those  eight  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. At the plate,  McCullough  went 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI, while  Oja  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Wright is undefeated when  McCullough posts two or  more  runs, but 5-13 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Ethan Gallo was  incredible,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with two  triples, three  runs,  and four  RBI. He has become a key player for Wright: the team is 6-1 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 5-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Eli Ruotsala, who  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with two  runs and two  RBI.
Wright moved to 11-13 with that  win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Ontonagon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Gladiators beat Wright by a score of  6-5 later that day.
