Volleyball Game Preview: Velva Aggies vs. Drake/Anamoose Raiders

The Velva Aggies will take on the Drake/Anamoose Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Velva came into their game last Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Surrey, falling 3-0. The Aggies have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Drake/Anamoose came up short against Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] on Monday and fell 3-1.

Velva's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12-2. As for Drake/Anamoose, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1.
