Baseball Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short

The Lafayette Fighting Irish came up short against the St. Joseph Christian Lions on Thursday, falling 11-3. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for St. Joseph Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Lafayette has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 victory against Chillicothe on the 10th. As for St. Joseph Christian, they will welcome Plattsburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
