Hitchcock County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madysen Carlson led the charge by dropping a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Carlson has become a key player for Hitchcock County: the team is 4-2 when she posts at least ten rebounds, but 6-10 otherwise. Raegan Hagan was another key player, putting up 13 points and four steals.

Hitchcock County's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Wallace, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
