Aragon got themselves on the board against Carlmont on Tuesday, but Carlmont never followed suit. They came out on top against the Scots by a score of  3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  14-3  back in March.
The result came thanks to  Makayla Hafoka's shutout, as she gave up just three  hits and racked up seven Ks.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Taylor Workman, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
Aragon's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Carlmont,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-17.
 Aragon and Carlmont could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage  in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Dons will  take on  Capuchino  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday with a big rank  disadvantage  (372 vs. 51). Meanwhile,  Carlmont (ranked 462nd) will meet Woodside (ranked 206th)  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
