Basketball Recap: McKinley Comes Up Short

McKinley lost against Waterloo back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The McKinley Trojans were dealt a 57-17 defeat at the hands of the Waterloo Vikings. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

McKinley has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season. As for Waterloo, their victory bumped their record up to 3-18.

McKinley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-23 win against Academy for Urban Scholars on the 12th. As for Waterloo, they will face off against Leetonia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Considering Leetonia has lost three straight at home and Waterloo four straight on the road, this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
