Basketball Recap: Millington Comes Up Short

Millington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 43-24 to the Caro Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 503rd, while the Tigers are ranked 230th).

Millington's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Caro, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Millington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 48-19 defeat against Cass City on the 19th. As for Caro, they will face off against Marlette at 7:30 p.m. on February 25th.
