Soccer Recap: Reedy's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

After flying high against Turner last Friday, Reedy came back down to earth. The Reedy Lions fell 3-1 to the Highland Park Scots on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in February.

Reedy's goal came courtesy of Mahika Mediratta, who's now up to five this season.

Reedy moved to 10-7-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Highland Park, they pushed their record up to 16-3-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Reedy nor Highland Park have any future games scheduled.
