Basketball Recap: College View Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Omaha Christian Academy last Thursday, College View Academy came back down to earth. The College View Academy Eagles took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parkview Christian Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 80-56 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Parkview Christian was led to victory by Tairren Scott and Guilherme De-Lima. Scott posted 19 points along with seven boards and six assists, while De-Lima earned 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Harlem Mcginnis, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 11 points and six rebounds.

College View Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Parkview Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

College View Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-33 victory against Cedar Bluffs on the 10th. As for Parkview Christian, they will take on Pawnee City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
