Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Peoria couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a hard 60-41 fall against the Brother Rice Crusaders on Monday. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

Peoria's defeat dropped their record down to 29-7. As for Brother Rice, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 30-6.

Peoria does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brother Rice, they will face off against St. Patrick at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. Patrick will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Brother Rice surely won't give up without a fight.
