Softball Recap: Central Cass Drops Highest Score of Season Against Maple River

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Cass). They never let the Maple River Eagles get on the board and left with a 23-0 win on Saturday. Considering the Squirrels have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Central Cass has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Maple River, they dropped their record down to 13-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Central Cass has already played their next game, a 27-0 win against Enderlin on the 19th. Maple River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
