Baseball Recap: Buckfield Comes Up Short

Buckfield fell victim to Richmond and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Bobcats, falling 7-0. The Bucks haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Buckfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Richmond, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Buckfield will welcome Old Orchard Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Richmond, they are taking a road trip to take on Carrabec at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cobras have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
