Baseball Game Preview: Southridge Suns vs. University Titans

The Southridge Suns will head out on the road to challenge the University Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Southridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Ridgeline get on the board and left with a 9-0 win.

Ryan Wade was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Trey Holdren, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Southridge lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March.

Meanwhile, University waltzed into their contest on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Blue Devils 9-2.

Southridge's record is now 13-10. As for University, their record now sits at 20-2.

Southridge couldn't quite get it done against University in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 as they fell 8-4. Can the Suns avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
