Football Game Preview: Lansdowne Vikings vs. Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines

The Lansdowne Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lansdowne has now lost ten straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 21st.

Last Friday, Lansdowne lost to Eastern Tech on the road by a 26-12 margin.

Although Lansdowne took the loss, they still got scores from Daion Wheeler and Makiyah Mickens.

Special teams was responsible for all of the team's points. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Wheeler, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 43-8, which was the final score in Western Tech & Environmental Science's tilt against Towson on Friday.

Western Tech & Environmental Science's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lansdowne, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-3.

Lansdowne was taken down by Western Tech & Environmental Science 42-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
