Volleyball Recap: Poudre Community Academy Comes Up Short

Poudre Community Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

While Poudre Community Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Liberty Tree Academy's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-14, 25-16.

Poudre Community Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Liberty Tree Academy, their win ended an eight-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-16.

Poudre Community Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty Tree Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Elbert on the 28th.
