Glenwood can bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging an 84-56 win over the East Tartans. With that victory, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 51.7 points per game.

Glenwood was led to victory by Wyatt McNeil and Lamarcus Parker. McNeil went 12 of 26 en route to 36 points along with eight rebounds and six assists, while Parker dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 assists. Another player making a difference was Levigh Cooper, who posted 11 points.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Glenwood was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Glenwood's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Glenwood will venture away from home to take on Western at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Western has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests. As for East, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 44-36 defeat against Fairview on the 18th.
