Basketball Game Preview: South Summit Wildcats vs. North Summit Braves

South Summit is on a six-game streak of home wins, while North Summit is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The South Summit Wildcats will host the North Summit Braves at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Two weeks ago, South Summit didn't have too much trouble with Highland as they won 50-33.

Meanwhile, North Summit rang in the new year with a 42-32 win over Duchesne on Thursday. The 42-point effort marked the Braves' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

South Summit's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for North Summit, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

South Summit was dealt a bruising 64-27 defeat at the hands of North Summit in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point South Summit was down 39-18.
