Basketball Recap: Munford Takes a Loss

Munford and Anniston squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Munford had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 67-22 loss at the hands of the Anniston Bulldogs. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Munford's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Anniston, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6.

While Munford had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
