Basketball Recap: Jeanerette Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Jeanerette faced off against E.D. White on Monday. The Jeanerette Tigers took a 66-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the E.D. White Cardinals. The Tigers have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Jeanerette's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for E.D. White, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jeanerette will host Morgan City at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for E.D. White, they will welcome Houma Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. E.D. White knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Houma Christian likes a good challenge.
