Calvert had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the New Knoxville Rangers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Senecas also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Their offense was headlined by Gracie Miller and Emily Miller, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Bryn Dircksen and her 17 assists. Bella Borgio and Claire Schoenberger kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Calvert has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against St. Henry on the 16th. As for New Knoxville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Memorial on the 16th.
