Washington County lost to Thomasville back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Raina Gunter paced Washington County's offense, picking up seven kills. Gunter got some help from Tippy Ridge and her 15 assists. Maddie McKinley controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Washington County's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, Washington County and Thomasville will both be playing Southern Choctaw the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Indians at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
