BROCK WRIGHT was a major factor in Carlsbad's victory over Clovis on Friday. WRIGHT turned in his biggest game of the season, rushing for 157 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. He is becoming a predictor of Carlsbad's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Coming up, WRIGHT and Carlsbad will square off against Organ Mountain at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The game will pit WRIGHT up against the Knights' star running back Romeo Jones.
