Basketball Game Preview: Yukon Millers vs. Edmond Memorial Bulldogs

Yukon is 2-7 against Edmond Memorial since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Yukon Millers will square off against the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Yukon is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They took a 66-52 bruising from Southmoore. While losing is never fun, the Millers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the SaberCats are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, Edmond Memorial came up short against Norman North on Tuesday and fell 43-31. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Yukon's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Edmond Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Yukon lost to Edmond Memorial on the road by a decisive 51-32 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Yukon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
