Baseball Recap: Mica Mountain Gets the Win

Mica Mountain never let their opponents score on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Mingus Marauders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbolts.

Mica Mountain's victory was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Higuera, who went 1-for-5 with one run and one RBI.

Mica Mountain's win bumped their record up to 9-10-1. As for Mingus, they moved to 8-14-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Mica Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-2 victory against Sahuaro on the 21st. As for Mingus, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 22-8 defeat against Prescott on the 21st.
