Basketball Recap: Gem State Adventist Academy Comes Up Short

They took a blow against the Riverstone International Otters, falling 59-31. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while the Otters are ranked 50th).

Gem State Adventist Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tyler Grimaldo, who posted 11 points. Levi Smith was another key player, putting up six points.

Gem State Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Riverstone International, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2.
