Basketball Game Preview: The First Academy Royals vs. North Tampa Christian Academy Titans

The First Academy Royals will head out on the road to take on the North Tampa Christian Academy Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The First Academy is headed into Saturday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 77-76 heartbreaker at the hands of Foundation Academy. The Royals were up 48-33 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Meanwhile, North Tampa Christian Academy beat Miramar 54-42 on Monday.

North Tampa Christian Academy has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for The First Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
