Volleyball Recap: Oak Hills Makes It Five in a Row on the Road + How To Watch

While Oak Hills's victory against Fairfield wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Highlanders won by a set and slipped past the Indians 3-2.

Oak Hills was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 14-25, 25-19, 15-12.

Despite the loss, Fairfield still got an impressive performance from Peyton Smith, who had 21 digs and three aces. Smith is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Oak Hills pushed their record up to 13-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Fairfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. After both having extra time off, Oak Hills and Lebanon will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Fairfield, they will be taking part in a tournament against Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
