            The Mesa Jackrabbits will challenge the Mountain View Toros at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
On Thursday, Mesa didn't have quite enough to beat Skyline and fell  4-3. The Jackrabbits have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Mesa saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lane Goodman, who  went 2-for-3 with one  triple and one  RBI.
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Mountain View, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Red Mountain on Thursday, sneaking past  3-2.
 Justice Yanke spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on six hits. He has become a key player for Mountain View: the team is undefeated when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 8-10 otherwise.
 At the plate,  Kooper Klein was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Mountain View has  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Mesa, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.
 Mesa beat Mountain View 6-1  in their previous matchup  back in March of 2024. Do  the Jackrabbits have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Toros turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
