Basketball Recap: Lowell Catholic Comes Up Short

Lowell Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 81-54 defeat at the hands of the KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate Panthers. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Lowell Catholic now has a losing record at 3-4. As for KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

When Lowell Catholic and KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Lowell Catholic will try to stop Dracut's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate will square off against Peabody Veterans Memorial and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
