Soccer Game Preview: Archbishop Mitty vs. Valley Christian

The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs will take on the Valley Christian Warriors at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Archbishop Mitty is headed into the matchup without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They and St. Ignatius College Preparatory finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw on Saturday. The Monarchs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Valley Christian's game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Archbishop Riordan. Even though the Warriors got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Jack Carlson was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

With that draw, Archbishop Mitty's record moves to 5-0-3. As for Valley Christian, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.
