Baseball Recap: White Deer Comes Up Short

White Deer came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Shamrock Irish, falling 21-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bucks of the 15-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Lucas Radina made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Karson Vaugh, who earned one run and three stolen bases.

White Deer now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Shamrock, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White Deer will square off against Kelton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shamrock, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wellington at 4:30 p.m. on March 10.
