Softball Recap: Fayette County Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Waterloo, Fayette County was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Phillips Bears. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Fayette County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Phillips, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers face off against the Lions at 4:30 p.m. on March 3rd. As for Phillips, they will take on Phil Campbell at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
