Football Recap: Bishop Canevin Wins Going Away Against Steel Valley

Bishop Canevin won the last time they faced Steel Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Crusaders took down the Ironmen 21-6.

Despite the loss, Steel Valley still got an impressive performance from Da`Ron Barksdale, who rushed for 109 yards and one touchdown. Barksdale is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 109 every time he's taken the field this season.

The win got Bishop Canevin back to even at 1-1. As for Steel Valley, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Canevin will host Laurel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Steel Valley, they will square off against South Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Ironmen their first taste of in-conference action this season.
