Volleyball Recap: Andrea Aguirre Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Coral Reef

The True North Classical Academy Titans got the win against the Coral Reef Barracudas on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

One reason for the win was True North Classical Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-20, 25-19.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead True North Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrea Aguirre, who had four aces and three digs. Those four aces gave Aguirre a new career-high. Bianca Gomez was another key player, getting 14 assists and four digs.

They weren't the only good server: True North Classical Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coral Reef only served five aces.

True North Classical Academy has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

True North Classical Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Palmetto on the 26th. As for Coral Reef, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Reagan on the 26th.
