Poca is 1-9 against Buffalo since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Dots will host the Bison at 6:00 p.m. Poca is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
Poca easily dispatched Teays Valley Christian on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Dots fell just short of Tug Valley by a score of 6-4 on Monday.
Jackson McClanahan was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Logan Inglish made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one double. He has become a key player for Poca: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-10 otherwise.
Meanwhile, while it was Buffalo who put the first runs on the board on Monday, it was Scott who put up more. The Bison fell just short of the Skyhawks by a score of 5-4.
Carter Webb and Attilio Signorini did some serious damage despite the final result: Webb went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI, while Signorini went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Webb has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Poca, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Poca has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Buffalo struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Poca suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Buffalo in their previous meeting last Monday. Will the Dots have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
