Basketball Game Preview: Western Indians vs. Manchester Greyhounds

The Western Indians and the Manchester Greyhounds will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Western's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.

On Friday, Western was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 72-66 to Symmes Valley. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Manchester ended up a good deal behind Fayetteville-Perry on Friday and lost 49-33. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Western's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Manchester, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Western came up short against Manchester in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 47-41. Can Western avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
