Basketball Recap: Windsor Locks Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Windsor Locks can now relate to. They fell to the Canton Warriors 81-77. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (71), the Raiders still had to take the loss.

Windsor Locks dropped their record down to 9-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points over those games. As for Canton, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Windsor Locks does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canton, they will square off against Woodstock Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Canton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Woodstock Academy likes a good challenge.
