Volleyball Recap: Valentine Takes a Loss

Valentine lost against Chase County back in September of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Valentine fell just short of Chase County by a score of 2-1.

Mia Sherbeyn paced Valentine's offense, picking up 12 kills. Sherbeyn got some help from Devahney Belville and her 25 assists. Tygh Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Valentine's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Chase County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Valentine has already played their next game (against Sandhills/Thedford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chase County, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Sidney on the 23rd.
