Football Recap: Kennedy Memorial Mustangs vs. Voorhees Vikings
Kennedy Memorial lost against Voorhees back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Kennedy Memorial Mustangs fell 39-27 to the Voorhees Vikings. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Matteo Tramutola was a one-man wrecking crew for Voorhees as he rushed for 301 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Kennedy Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Voorhees, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Kennedy Memorial is taking a road trip to challenge Governor Livingston at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Voorhees, they will host J.P. Stevens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
